Why the figure changes
The metric changes with the set of completed cases. An individual request for evidence, workload transfer or the circumstances of a particular office are reflected only once the relevant cases enter the completed sample.
Changes during the waiting period
Employment, country of residence, family circumstances and current evidence may change while a petition is pending. An immigration petition should therefore not be the only calendar used for a relocation plan.
Standard and premium processing
Premium Processing is available for certain classifications, but the period and type of USCIS action depend on the category. Faster adjudication does not reduce the requirements or guarantee approval; the current Form I-907 instructions should be checked before filing.
